Out For Justice, the Universal Zulu Nation and Beats Rhymes & Relief have partnered together with the Freddie Gray Project to empower Baltimore Cities youth by creating a pathway to employment in the entertainment and construction industries. BMore Successful is a comprehensive 26 week program that will apply vocational training/certifications and real world work experience coupled with an intensive case management program that will provide our youth a pathway to becoming a confident contributing member of the workforce.
Leaders In Technology
As with every generation, the youth today are inspired and motivated by pop culture and entertainment. We see how they idolize and emulate their favorite musicians, sports figures and actors from the clothes they wear to the cars they drive but often times do not realize how many different careers are behind making that “star” shine.
BMore Successful’s Leaders In Technology track will offer a comprehensive program that will train a select group of young adults from the Sandtown-Winchester community on the technological side of the entertainment industry. Participants will enroll in a 26 week Conceptual and Practical skills training program that will cover the following skill sets:
Marketing & Promotions
Artist & Business Management
Leaders in Construction
Getting out into the community and developing an ability to assess the state of a property is an important step in owning the opportunity of rebuilding the community. Training sessions to develop fluency of trade terminology and field trips to see their community through the eyes of a developer will give them a strong ability to change their perception of
themselves and the environment they live in.
BMore Successful’s Leaders In Construction Business track will train young adults from the Sandtown-Winchester community to become future contractors. Participants will learn about the tools, equipment, and materials that are required to execute construction projects through a 26 week course covering the following areas:
